One down, one to go

The first His Navy is FINISHED!  I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy bind off while watching Cat Bordhi’s video on youtube to keep on track.  and yes, it is indeed surprisingly stretchy.  For the last twelve rows I switched from 4kx2p rib to 2×2.  I like how the bind off works with the ribbing.  Now to cast on sock 2 in the morning.  Er, its 3:30 am so later in the morning.  (Yeah, can’t sleep, sock was finished about 10:00 last night.)

Yes, I do realize that the leg portion isn’t really horrendously long but the foot is and well… I’m sick of doing ribbing.  Oh, and I ended up using all but a little bit of the skein.  I wasn’t too sure just how many more rounds it could go so decided it was better to err on the side of caution.

It hit me a few hours ago that it has been months since I’ve knit with anything other than fingering weight yarn.  No wonder I’m having a hard time with incentive.  It’s time to switch things up a bit.
